The chalk board is the wild symbol in Mad Scientist and it can substitute any standard symbol. The lever symbol is the scatter feature. When players get 3x or more of these on any reel, players win up to 250 credits.

Although Mad Scientist is looking a bit dated now compared to it's newer sibling Madder Scientist it does carry three exciting bonus features & a fun sound track.

Wild O’Caution - Triggered when the tesla coil symbol appears on the first and last reels of the same line. The coils will send a shock to one another and create an electrocuting symbol. This symbol then becomes wild and will activate huge wins on numerous pay lines.

Pick Me Feature - When players get 3x or more biohazard icons on the same pay line, they will have the chance to pick one of the icons and reveal a bonus prize. The prize amount will vary depending on the amount of money that has been wagered and the number of pay lines the biohazard symbol appeared on.

Great Experiment Bonus - Players are taken to this new screen when 3x or more beakers are hit on any reel. If players hit more than 3x beakers this will really increase players winnings during this bonus round. When activated, players will see objects that the mad scientist is about to experiment on. Choose an object and the scientist will mix it with his new serum in an effort to turn it into gold. Depending on your mad scientist skills, the object may turn bronze, silver or gold which will result in various prize awards.

Mad Scientist slot machine has some fun graphics and sound effects, and provides an entertaining theme, especially when the wacky scientist is performing his crazy experiments, but this game does not offer the same level of animation and eye popping graphics as some of Betsoft’s newer games.
